I'm just wondering to myself to save a bit of money of if its really a good idea. The brakes on my Rex are basicly shot. 90% of the braking on a vehicle comes from the front of the car, if i was to replace all of the componments in the front, calipers, rotors, pads, etc... and not touch the rear of the vehicle, would that cause anything bad, i guess you could just say ignore the rear half of the vehicle for now since it does not account for that much of the brakeing.

If the brakes are "shot" as in f'ed up rotors and pads you will need to replace them but being an si it should have discs in back too I wouldnt "ignore" them but they may not wear out as quick as the front.

yeah, thats what i was thinking, the car has been up for a while, the pads had almost nothing left when i bought the car and the rotor on one side is actually cracked (front)

Replace them rotors with some Brembo blanks and get some good pads. As said earlier, don't neglect the rear pads.

Uneven braking power could spell disaster with to much braking power in the front and none in the back your asking for trouble imo.
