Default What is a "Test Pipe"?

like the title says, i've heard this term a couple times pertaining to exhaust. Can someone tell me exactly what it is?

basically a straight though pipe that eliminates your cat, for "testing purposes only"

Straight pipe that replaces your cat. Not emissions or street legal, although many run one anyways.

I find it hard to believe that you have a 95 LS Turbo and a dead 300ZXTT and you do not know what a test pipe is. I'm just puzzled.

judging from the type of cars he has.. he might have mommy and daddy pay for it all, and take it to a shop and have his work done.. never got a spot of oil on his fingers a day in his life, unless it was cooking oil..
