Default jdm ef-8/ef-9 fender identification please...pics

Here are some fenders that i am buying. I was told that these are both ef-8 fenders even though in the pics the one on the right is marked ef-9. I have circled where i think shows a difference in the fenders. Obviously the plastic mounting tab is gone on the left fender, but the metal on the fender that the plastic tab mounts to is where i think both fenders look different. So can anyone tell me if i'm just missing something here or is this a picture of a fender off an ef-8 and one off a ef-9.

i was told this is the set i would be receiving for my crx and would like to make sure that it is correct and fits before they ship it. TIA

I thoughts that the JDM and the USDM fenders were the exact same, other than the sidemarkers...?

yes, i know that, but i'm asking whether the picture listed are two jdm crx fenders or one jdm crx and one jdm civic hatchback. The circled area shows a bit of difference and i need someone to clarify that for me.

ya, one says EF8 and the other says EF9 that means they are for different models of CRX's.

jeez guys, i know its marked that way, but is there any physical differences that are visible that can distinguish which is which? Here's the thing, i was told these are the fenders i was gonna buy, but since i want matching fenders i want to make sure they are for the same car. obviously they are marked ef8 and ef-9 but was told the people who marked it accidently wrote ef-9 on the fender on the right, when in reality it is a ef-8. And i'm on here to see if any jdm gurus can confirm to me that these are crx or hatchback fenders.

i know for my civic my fender had one point at the bottom of the fender where it bolts in. I'm not sure about crx's but I see two points where the fender bolts in at the bottom.

the ef8 fender is shorter than the ef9 fender.
the bottom of the ef9 fender will bolt to the bottom of the car.
the bottom of the ef8 fender needs a plastic skirt trim piece attached to it.
if you bolted the ef8 fender to a ef9, you will see that the fender is too short.

also, the shape located directly under where the clear corners go is different.
the ef9 fender needs help from the ef9 front filler piece.
the ef8 fender does not use any filler as it's already part of the front bumper.

i think the corner lights themselves are different also.
hope that helps.

the one labeled EF-9 (on the right) is actually an EF-8. but it's hard to tell from that picture if they are both the same. they are positioned weird and there's not enough light.

look at the bottom of both of the fenders in the pic. They both have the plastic trim piece that completes the crx bottom molding. They are both crx fenders

The easiest way to distinguish CRX/HB/4DR/wagon fenders is to just look at the shape of the cutout for the cornerlamp.
