check engine light popped on and then off.
On the way to work today I got a Check engine light. It happened about 100ft from my job so I drove the rest of the way and then shut it down. I turned it off and started it back up and it went away. Do cel's usually do this? I will be checking the cel after work, all I need is a paperclip correct?
Will the code still be there even if the CEL light is not on?

Well I went out and got codes 22 and 36. So 22 is a vtec oil pressure switch. So would I just replace the switch or could it be unplugged or something. And the 36 I guess is a ghost code for the jdm P13 ecu. So anyway any help on the 22. Thanks
Please help.

I went out and checked all the plugs going to the vtec solenoid, and all seem to be on snug and clipped in, so maybe the switch is just defective. How much would one of these cost? Would it hurt the motor to drive it if it is defective, as long as I stay out of vtec?
any help is appreciated.
thanks
