I guess some people just got to have the name.
It's not the name...It's the weight savings. That is why we buy these wheels.

I took the $1000 I saved by getting Rota's over Spoons and bought a turbo! There's no way you can say I should've gotten the Spoons.

I have spoon on my R but, when your talking about paying $1500 more just to have spoon rims that are only 2 or so lbs lighter then rotas, I went with the rotas. I used the extra money to finnish off my turbo kit.....

How about this.... why don't you get the rims you can afford, not what the loan will cover!!! Just get what you can afford and hell, if it looks like the real deal no one will know except the jdm experts, but there are only a handful of those around. How many people you know look at people's rims and say "hey these are not true jdm, authentic spoon sw388 rims, I must leave a note and make sure he knows." Bump that... just get what you want. its your car, not everyone else's.

hehe.. i must say when i first saw flat black wheels like these i thought their both FUGLY! BUT im getting use to it simply because their lightweight and all about performance/value. overall, rota's i think have a better value. saving $400 for 3lbs per wheel... i'd go with the rotas. although.... the C8's they have is 0.5lbs lighter than slipstreams.
