replacing motor
im going to buy a stock replacement motor for my crx in a couple days. the motor doesnt come with tranny but i have the one that is in the car now, my ? is how should i go about swapping the trannies? with the new motor in the car or on an engine lift?
Pull the old motor / tranny as a whole, then once outside of car take engine / tranny apart and attach tranny to new engine and drop it all in at once. Lots easier. Since you are taking motor out anyway be easier to get to bolts where you have all the room vs trying do it inside the bay or under car. Just my suggestion, but as always, do as you wish.
ok thanks for the feedback. hopefully ill have hte money for the motor soon. does anybody happen to have a stock crx dx motor by any chance. d15b. thanks
