my 89 dx needs new fenders...and the Z3's appear to be the cheapest aftermarket fenders available....but im hearing that they dont fit perfectly...and it requires some messing to get them on....is this truth...if so whats the cheapest aftermarket fender that actually fits...thanks ya

 

get a stock fender from a place like certifit. I wouldnt buy z3's.

I personally think the Z3's look best on crx's than any other car besides Z3, as long as you have the rest of the car with a nice kit.

 

i think my friend told me that you need to do some stuff to make it fit... prolly also depends on who made the fender

 

Dont buy cheap parts, you'll get burned.

Look for a deal here on H-T for a used fender.

 

yea..i regret buying my z3 fenders

 

bought z3's with my car (uninstalled) and i absolutely hate them. they look badass and all but the fact that theyre fiberglass makes them a bitch to do anything with. dont buy em.

Ya mna I also have a set in my garage, went to install them and noticed the work that needed to be really done, they lined up great for the side skirts and along the hood and where it attaches to the front bumper was just god awful

 

so...what i heard was apparently true...are there any aftermarkets that fit pretty good?

Don't buy those fenders they look . Looks like gills from a fish on the side of your car. Buy some stock ones or find some used ones. I could of sworn that they sell fenders on ebay for like $60 each. I thought the fish gill fenders where expensive like $250 for both.
