How would you define rice.?.?.?.?.
What would you say rice is? My definition of rice is when people take import cars and mix ghetto stuff with them. For instance, you take a Honda Civic and put 12 or 13 inch wire wheels on it and then skateboard it. After you do that you stick Type-R stickers everywhere and put DOHC VTec stickers on when you don't even have a V-Tec period. People do this same stuff even if it isn't a Honda. I have heard of them doing this stuff to Neons, Fords, and even Chevys.
One more question. If you put in a DOHC VTec and SiR kit, SiR guage cluster, the neat Type R shift *** and boot, can you get away with puting an SiR sticker on without people flaming you for having that. Would you consider that Type R enough?
Also, please post Rice pictures.
Thanks

This is one topic that has been gone over many many times. This is one definition of rice that everyone seems to agree on:
Rice = mods that give the apearance of adding power, without doing so
ex: exhaust tips, fake intercoolers, stickers for **** u dont have

and as for rebadging your car [even if you do have the parts to back up the rebadge] your gonna get flack for that regardless.
everyone knows they didnt sell SiR's in the states
everyone knows the do sell SiR stickers in every pepboys and major mall in america.
i used to sport a SiR badge, thought it looked good, but i took it off and replaced it with a 99-00 Si badge, still looks good.
do it if you wish, but you will get **** for it. but at least your not false advertising.

Man, I just got back from getting some food and I saw the Ricest honda accord I have ever seen. It had a big Terminator wing on it painted gold. It also had some gold wire hub caps. Then it said across the hood "Type-R". On the back windshield was a huge decal that said "Caught Cha Lookin". Hell yeah, not only did he catch me looking, he caught me laughing. He asked why I was laughing and I told him that there was some rice on his car and he didn't know what I was talking about and I laughed again. Oh yeah, he also his seats upholstered in fake turf (Like the miniture golf grass). I just thought that car was something hilarious. Wish I had my camera.
ricey hondas only exist in opinion,if you think that painting your honda's perfectly designed black and grey interior looks good then it does. build your car for you, dont listen to others opinion. but respect the fact that they are entitled to them.i feel that there are clean and unclean hondas.
i myself, dont like clears, euro clears, stickers(even if you have the part),splashes of yellow in a perfect interior(no it yellow doesnt add horsepower), and useless colored badges, glowing badges, and powered by acura stickers on an integra when the teg has a big fat H on the valve cover.
now i do like stock taillights, dumped hondas, factory amber corner lamps, cleverly placed intergenerational parts( rims, seats, interior, brakes, motors),black rims, and real carbon fiber.i also love street racing,so i like to take a corner going 70, i love suspension components.....i love the usdm stock style.oem body kits are for me.
