Waiting on b18c1 cylinder head to finish swap...should i throw a d16a6 into hf rex?
Like topic says. I just picked up a si crx for 100 dollars with a messed up clutch. Should I pull d16a6 out of si and fix clutch and put it into my rex? Its got a header on it. I figure it would be fun while im waiting the next month or so for my cylinder head and stuff to get done. The hf is just too slow and it keeps stalling out once a week and i can't find the problem...it runs good all week then stalls out and dies every week about the same time!!! I turn the car off wait a minute and it runs good again...think its something with dizzy.
I'm really debating this because then i could put my si brakes and spindles on and scrap this ugly si sooner (its got cancer bad and i was just plan on pulling the parts off it and sending it to the crusher). Plus then i would have more stuff done for when i swapped in b18c1 later. Look like i got a month and a half before ill be getting my head back.

Go for it, d16a6 is pretty nice in a light HF, and night and day better than that HF motor with its TALL gear ratioed trans. Dunno how quick you do swaps, but 2 weeks would be worth it for me.
well im going to do it ill have it done by thursday so ill tell you how i like it...
