imediate help needed tranny related... vin provided..
i need a new tranny for my hatch.. but i want a EX, or SI tranny.
this guy has this tranny for sale.. cheap, but doens't know what it came from. the stamps above the filler hole were funny, so here's the vin.

a free carfax type lookup said it was a Canada Origin 1998 Sedan 1.6 LX.
are LX trannys crap?

Yep....just like the Cx and Dx.
You want one out of an EJ8 (2HGEJ8....would be the VIN). EJ8 = Ex.
