Default built jdm h22a t70/80: teflon oil treatment affecting oil pressure? turbo wont spool?

Hey all,

I have a t70/80 turbo built h22a. Usually put in 4 quarts of gtx
20w-50 and a quart of lucas oil. For some stupid reason, i decided
to try something new and put in 5 quarts of gtx and prolong (teflon)
oil treatment. It ran fine for about 700 miles, then the turbo
stopped spooling completly. What I think is happening is that the
prolong is so slick that it cant build up the proper oil pressure to
boost (its usually 25 at idle 50 when running and 75 when
boosting). So I drained it and went back to 4qts of gtx and 1 of
lucas. Still the same problem. I asked the shop and they said
that the prolong is a teflon treatment and bonds with the metal and
is basically in there forever (bad news) good news is that they
think is a oil pump or something like that (well not exactly good
news but encouraging). Has anyone had these problems before and
have any suggestions? Also a engine flush will NOT remove the
prolong treatment, nothing will apparently, or so I have been told.
Any suggestions would be great.

call me stupid but how in the hell is an oil treatment that makes the oil slicker going to make the turbine not spool?

additive gets on turbine parts, parts spin better= less shaft wear

also the oil treatment should not lower your oil pressure any. it should just smooth things out.

i would definately say to check your other things like the pump.

please explain though by what you mean with

"it cant build up the proper oil pressure to boost"

once again, what does oil pressure have to do with being able to boost? because if the turbine wheel spins it will make boost.
