Default Sorry another quick question

If I change out my stock D16 for a DOHC ZC, will I need anything extra to complete the job? Or is it pretty much bolt on? I'm pretty sure the same tranny will work with it, but if you can reassure me it'd be helpful also. Thanks guys

it is all bolt in bro.my freind here in nm had a 1989 crx full interior, dohc zc motor ,street tires, underdrive pulley, adj cam gear exhaust only,dc sports header.everything else stock run a best 15.10 in lubbock texas.sadley about 3 months ago he went thru a puddle of water and hydro locked it throwing the rod out the block.then he switched to a b16.last time he run it with the new b16 he run 15.40.i have some hopup parts for a zc dohc let me know if your intrested.

Could anyone verify if the DOHC ZC needs a new ECU? Or any websites I could get one from? Thanks

you can use a 89 integra ecu it is basicly the same motor but the zc has a bigger intake manifold also you will need to conect 2 of the bottom part wire of your distributor (cut them) to hook up to your cam sensor.another thing if you want go on ebay and look up mugen they have cheap chipds for your ecu it is the chip only you will have to have some one put it in for you i have one and its the bomb.oh yea the int ecu clips right on and readlines at75 instead of 68 but you can use your stock ecu for know but you redlione at 65

here you go, this is the site you need. http://hometown.aol.com/nosajuf/nosajuf2.htm

i'll be doing a ZC swap into my CRX in a few months i messed up the engine a few days ago...hmm thinking about it now a full week now. but it sounds like a 100% useful site i'm gonna use it. i have another link to another ZC site but if you need it email me.
