my friend has a d16a1 from a 88 teg. im wondering what the total hp and ft lb.s is of the car i went on hondaswaps and they show d16a1 as a 86-87 and i know the hp i think is like 120 im just wonderin what the ft lbs. is on it and what tranny will bolt up to his cuz he has a dx tranny and for some reason it wont mount up for us maybe its just us by the time we got the stock motor out and dickin around for the day we just kinda said screw it after one try??? just lookin for ne kind of help cuz neither of us have messed w/ an old school teg. motor....

all i was asking is what the hp and tq of a d16a1 was for an 88-89 teg, and why his dx cable tranny wouldn't mount up to it??? but thanks for the info ne ways
