how can I tell if I still have front bumper SRS sensors (JDM front end conversion) - help
About a month ago I bought a 1994 GS-R w/ the JDM front end. Anyway, it has a momo steering wheel, but honestly, I would rather have an airbag, so I am considering getting a stock steering wheel. What I am wondering though, is what is the point in getting a stock steering wheel w/ airbag if the SRS sensors in the front bumper are missing, etc. Just wondering where I might find these sensors, or how I could tell if they are still there or hooked up etc.
Thanks
Thanks
I got a jdm conversion on my car too, but I never had heard of anything like a srs sensor that needs to be plug into the front bumper. I also installed the jdm momo srs steering wheel. And it don't like there were any prolbem with the airbag so far, and I got it done for more then 2 years already now.
i have a momo steering wheel, but no srs. do you have a pic of the steering wheel you have? also, i believe the SRS sensors (along with others) are what make the airbag go off in a collision. just don't want to get a steering wheel with an airbag if it's not even gonna work in a crash.
...the senor on the bumper is the temp sensor.....i have it to..its for the climate control....i'll take a picture if i can find it.
