Default post pics of ur aftermarket radiator and or fan systems u got on ur prelude

like the topic title says : post pics of ur aftermarket radiator and or fan systems u got on ur prelude

Im looking into getting one due to the radiator motor taken a crap on my and seeing how much they charge for one at honda and most junk yards charge alot also its worth it to just upgrade, would like to know if u can use the mugen radiator cap on a fludyine radiator and also i see it comes with a fan and fan motor, someone told me the motor spins faster then the OEM one is this true.

I did a search and did not find good pics so post away please

I would if I had a digi cam. I have a 2" Civic C&R with a flex-a-lite 2000cfm puller in my 5th gen, and got It all brand new for around 250 for both. I will see if I can get pics this week.

one fan is for the ac and the other is to keep your engine cool....see which one cools your engine and remove the other one for a cleaner look.

the passengers side fan motor does not work the drivers side works, but if u run ur ac with out both of them wouldent that be a bad thing?

My C&R was $300 used. Weight difference is negligible.

So not to jack the thread but you can safely remove the condensor fan and you wont have to worry about overheating if you arnt running AC. The only time i do it on the hottest 100+ days in stop and go traffic. Other than that I never use it. So would I be ok?

i would believe that it would overheat....but it was mentioned that it would be fine....uplug it on a hot dayy...go for a ride with the ac on...if it overheats plug it back in...easy...

I'm using some aluminum rad from a company in my city here. It's basically the same size as an oem one. I'm also using 2, 10" slim fans convereted to push fans and these are mounted on the other side of the a/c condensor. Ths gave me enough room for my turbo kit and it's not too bad with regards to cooling. The pics are big so I'll link them! haha

Chris, we are using a flex-a-lite 12 inch fan their number is 112. We are using it as a push fan.
There was no room left on the inside of the radiator. The car does not overheat at all.
