Well, as some of you guys know I was supposed to get a Del Sol tranny (same gearing as ITR). However, I don't think I got a "complete" Del Sol tranny. After having the tranny in my car for over 2 weeks ... I'm starting to realize that the tranny is like a "hybrid". Meaning that I have a GSR tranny with ITR 3 and 4 gears.

Here's the catch:

When I shift into 3rd and 4th, the revs just fall to 6500, which is where it is suppose to on a ITR tranny. However, when I shift into 2nd and 5th, the revs drop to 6000, a little low for an ITR tranny.

Also, I can cruise at 80 at 4k (GSR 5th gear).

One more thing is, what would a JDM FD do to a USDM GSR tranny? Would it just accerlate faster? Or would it make the RPMs not drop so low. Like, instead of dropping at 6k they now drop at 6.3k?

Cause, YES ... this tranny is MUCH better than my old GSR one.

I'm trying to solve this asap so that I can dyno my car in the proper gear.

In the end, I may just bring the tranny to a shop and customize it to my specs. (JDM FD, LS 5th, ITR 2nd,3rd, 4th gear).

Anyway, can you guys just compile what the speedo reads in 2nd-5th gear at 3000 RPMs.

2nd gear @ 3k -- ??? MPH ... and so on.

That would help me out greatly.
