Hey folks, I decided to Install my FIAMM Dual Air Horn system today after it started gathering dust in the basement.

I mounted everything perfectly, but Im having trouble doing the wiring, Im an idiot when it comes to the side of electrical and electronics.

Well I read on the Hella Horn thread that you can wire the thing by:

1. Cutting the origional horn clip off.
2. Grounding (-) fromt he compressor to the frame.
3. Taking (+) from the compressor and connecting it to the positive end of the origional wires that remain after cutting the clip off.

First Question, which one is the positive wire? There is a Wite & Green sripe wire there also is Blue & Red stripe wire. I tried both and both blew the 20A horn fuse.

Is this way even possible? if not the thing came with relay, so I assume I have to do it as that wiring diagram suggests, but if that's the case, I need a lot of help.

I assume pin 86 is to ground
Pin 30, what do I need to exactly do? wire it to a fuse? how do I wire it to a fuse?
Pin 85 is self explanitory, but where can I find the wire that goes to the horn button, what does it even look like?

Aren't you supposed to use your exsiting horn wire somehow? I can't remember how I wired up my hellas.

pin 30 goes to a power source...you can use the one going to your stock horn...run up to radio shack, they have an inline fuse with wire on each end that you can solder in, or use a butt connector...its like 3 bucks i think...
