My car won't start!!!!! Help!!
Hey I just installed a used Throttle Body in my 90 civic with a 95sohc vtec motor. I put a new gasket and everthing, and it won't turn over. What do I do??
I've replaced my currect one because the throttle angle sensor broke and my check engine light was on. I installed everything back the way it was and it just keeps trying to start but won't come on fully. WTF!!! I really need help guys.

The car will still start even if the throttle position/angle sensor is unhooked completely, so i think your problem lies elsewhere. You say it doesnt come on completely, does it fire at all?
It kind of stumbles. Like it almost starts completely, but then doesn't.
BUT..
I know that the guy that had it before me changed out the Inst. cluster and he said that he didn't fill it up before he did it. He did mention something about the gauge maybe being off a little bit. So I think maybe it's out of gas since the needle is just a hair from being on the red.??? Let me go and get some gas and see what happens.

Ok. The car was out of gas, BUT now it whistles really loud where the TB and the intake manifold meet. I did get a new gasket so I'm not sure why it's doing that. Should I clean the surfaces with something before I put the gasket on??
ok bro i had enough u dont know wut vtec does so dont flame on it ur a moron and morons shouldnt talk unless they know wut they are talkin about as for ur problem man id clean up the tb anyway it shouldnt whistle its it like an air leak or wut kind tighten the bolts on the tb and go from there
Ok. I got the problem fixed. I just needed to clean the TB and the intake manifold where they meet. The gasket wasn't sealing completely because there was a piece of the old gasket still there. I got everything cleaned up and it's working great now. I should of just used common sense and cleaned the surfaces before putting the new gasket on. Oh well, you live and you learn.
