Broke all 3 lug nuts
I was driving my car for a week notice my car was making a loud axle noise everytime I turn or go forward. I check both side of the boots and it was torn with grease underneath my car only from the driver side. so I figure oh well I can just drive around til today and change it out. I check the Passenger side and notice no boot was torn. While Im driving my car the noise was coming from the passenger side, when the boot was torn from the driver side. Friday when I came home from work it was really making a loud and my steering wheel was shaking really bad, got out my jack, about to loosen the lug nuts and there it was 1 lug nut holding my wheel. All 3 bolts flew off (SOMEWHERE). Now Im screwed over with having to purchase new axles for the driver side and 3 lug nuts off. I dont know how I can fix my bolt lugs nuts. Everytime I post a topic in here, seems like no one can give me a definite answer. Can anyone give me ideas with having to change the lugs out? and NO you cannot pound it out only the rear ones you can. Can my rims be off balance and cause my lugs to break?
I see this stuff alot, people come to the shop with rims that are ment to have a conical seat lug nut on them, but they have flat lug nuts on them. it will strip the studs and break them off all day long.
