1990 crx si project
Decided ta buy a sc for my car since it was so cheap.. only $900. It came of of a d series engine so i thoght it would fit on my dohc zc but the bolt pattern was different. So i decided to buy a cheap d15b7..$150.
Here is a pic of the sc.

sweet. look out for detonation. let me know how it runs im havin some detonation problems with mine. dont forget to retard the timing. and did you get the FMU and air temp resistor too?
I take it you've tried high-octane fuel?
I have a stock '91 Civic Si in which I run regular unleaded. The only time it has ever knocked was when it was going uphill, heavily loaded, on a hot day.
Does yours smoke the tires easily? I'd like to get the 4x4 drivetrain from the big wagon and put that in a Crx along with a modded or swapped engine. That should take care of any traction problems.
