Default SHould I buy this rex?

Ok, 41k on motor and body. Tourqoise Bluish color DX with the most mint body I've seen in quite some time. No rust, no accidents, original owner asking $1500. The only downside is that it is automatic. Should I buy this? I think I can get him down to $1300 or even lower...

You shouldn't have to even ask YES.

if you want to buy then buy it. and who cares if it is auto, if you plan on swaping it out then it will be a stick later in the future.

y'know what speaking of low mileage the other day I went to go visit one of my guys at his job and saw a 1986 (i think) white CRX Si witha for sale sign on it. parked my car and walked over to and was blown away by the $4,500 he wanted for it. Looked the car over and decided it should be in a museum on display. this thing was PRESTINE. No rust, dings, scratches...anything. It had 32k on the odometer and I believe it this baby was gorgeous.

I'd pay that in a second. Ask them if they'd take a trade for a 88 Si with a lsd b16a swap for it.

nope dont have a kit just a name . what would we "nv" about your car anyways. so your telling me that buying a stock dx automatic for 1500 is a good deal? why you wont get jack for the tranny or motor when you swap. and buying a lighter car for 800 then doing a swap you will be just about at 1500 -$2000 with a ls. btw kid around here is selling a white 90 crx si no rot for 900.
eh?

I personally preffer to look at it as 41k on the BODY, not so much as the mileage...

One more thing I forgot to mention guys. I still have a wrecked Y-49 90 Si with blown motor. The trans is still good on it so I was toying with the idea of converting the DX to stick using the trans, linkages, pedals etc. from the Si. I guess this would give me something to do since its gonna be awhile before I can swap the dx over to b-series. I was originally considering parting out what was left of the Si but I figured since I already have everything to convert the dx to stick, why not?
