Default Is a JDM B16 complete swap worth 1800?

A local guy has a couple JDM motors with paper work that show they have under 40K miles. Complete swap, well everything minus the mounts. The thing is they are out of cars from 89-90. It is going into a 92 Hatch, so I would have to get a diff. tranny cause they are not hydraulic or whatever. Anyways, i think I can get the swap with no tranny or mounts for around 1100. B16A1, or for around 2000 I get get a B16A2 from him with the right tranny for my car still with no mounts. Worth it?

How much would a 2nd gen (from 92-95 SIR 2) B16 swap go for? Looking to get at least $1500.

I paid $2150 for my b16 swap shipped. It came with a gs-r tranny.
Minus the axles, alternator, knock sensor and a properly functioning engine.
Expect to pay about $2000 or so for a complete second gen b16 swap. +/- a little.
first gens generally go for about $1200 for the complete swap. From what I've seen

Let me know what you all got with your swap and maybe we can work something out.
