Default Anyone with a b16 in there 94-01 Tegs?

I thought about putting a b16 in a LS or SE integra, but I want the b16 tranny cause of the shorter gears, now would it be a better idea to just get a b16 tranny buy itself or get the whole swap? cause I wanna get rid of the LS swap outta the car, and I wanna boost a b18c long block with a b16 tranny?

I did, and I didnt find wat I was looking for. I really want people to reply who has a B16 in there tegs and if they already did it? and plus would anyone do a b16/18c combo swap. but I really wanna know how much I could sell the LS swap for, becuase I know the b16 tranny will bolt up to the car, and I can just drop the b18c long block in there and just wire it up.

yeah but then I would have to get the type R gearing, cause the car will be only for 1/4 only, not top end, thats why I want the b16 tranny due to the shorter gear ratio.

Once again, due to the gear ratio, I mean the type R tegs have the same setup but with a b16 head from what I hear. So why not do it with a b18c long block and the b16 tranny with LSD.

Thank you. I mean come on, think about it, people that know there trannys know the B16 tranny is better for 1/4, and I see it this way, Si owners think they can beat you if they have ur motor, and there stock tranny so they figure ahh this guy has a GSR tranny, I'll get him due to the gearing, but when U come up to the line and have the same setup as them and they see you hang with them reguardless, then I mean that would be a badass 1/4 setup. I mean In my opinion I think the type R swap is nothin but a b18 block with a b16 head, and tranny with LSD, thats why I would put a b16 tranny with LSD in my teg and bolt it up with my b18c long block, not to mention boosting would be a fun thing for quarter mile as well with that tranny.

the b18c5 is a lot different than a b18c with a b16 head, the valves, valve springs, ports, and cams are all different, also, i am pretty sure the type r block has higher compression.

an itr is not the same as a gsr
sure the block it self is the same but the itr has high cr pistons
ported head
dual valve springs
better cams
better im
lighter intake valves
bigger tb

and thats about it

b16 tranny would be great for 1.4 mile turbo but ls tranny for overall drivability

but I mean a boosted b18c long block with the b16 tranny is a good combo tho for 1/4, but if I sold the LS swap, what all would I need to sell? cause if I do b16, I know the swap would run about 2049.00shipped from passwordjdm I think or either http://www.hmotorsonline.com/ im not sure, but I know I would sell that LS swap to get enough money to get the b18c long block and b16 tranny with LSD, and it should bolt up to my Teg without a problem.
