Default reassembling B16

To assemble the crank pulley to the crank do you have to align both notch on the pulley and the crank. Also I would like to know the the torque specs for b16.

The helm shows that you do not have to line up anything. Torque the bolt to 130 lbf-ft. Make sure that you lube the thrads onthe bolt, and remove any oil from thr mating surfaces of the pulley, timing belt guide plate, tiing belt drive pulley, and the crank.

man if u dont know that u have no business taking apart or trying to assemble a motor.

TDC is when piston # is at Top Dead Center. if u dont know which piston is #1 then i suggest u take ur block to a machine shop and pay themfor the work

I know all of that but can I only look at the piston and when it's at the top i's TDC. There's a mark on the pulley and block that tells TDC and if you don't put the crank pulley the same way how can I say TDC.

you have to line up the slots in both the crank and crank pulley because you have to put a woodruff key in there to keep the pulley from moving out of alignment
