That's about the best price you're going to find.

This seems like a great idea if your carpet isn't in bad shape...just faded.

if you were to stain your carpet...i would advise using SEM Vinyl/Carpet Dye...it's a great product and even better brand however it can't be used for huge color changes...mostly making darks darker.

like blue to black

no blue to white or something (why would you do that anyway!)

yes, dye is the best way to go aslong as the carpet is in fairly good condition to start out with and just has stains or what not...I have used the dye stain/paint on two of my interiors works great get three cans of it most fabric/upholestry places have it they will know what you want. Go from grey-black even dark blue to black works. There is Black gloss and non gloss Black etc. Usually 3 to 4 coats will do it. It is about $10 a can if I remember or a lil less.

Maybe I used the wrong stuff, or didn't prep it right (clean, etc) but initially I got good results, but after the first vacuum/air hose blow out of the interior, paint dust was all over the place.

The best way "to do it" is get new carpet.

So how is the quality of the carpet at carpet4cars and stockinteriors? Is this the same carpet from ACCmats just resold? ACCmats wanted $212 shipped for my caar (EK hatch) but I am still looking for a better price.

The ACC molded carpet is a joke fits like **** and its a pain in the *** to cut out all the holes and even then stuff like truck and gas plastic release dont fit good etc. I paid $140 for it and threw it away junk...went with junkyard carpet in good condition minus few stains and clean it off first good and them dye it with the stain like I said above....and turned out great better then new

i wish I could remember where I ordered the carpet for my s10 from.. It fit great and matched my paint perfectly, all I had to do was cut out the holes for everything, but that was simple, I just layed my old carpet on top of it and busted out the razor.

I really need new carpet, I think the person that had the car before me used to take her cat with her and it pissed in there or something.. YUKKK..
