Default 2.2 VTEC Overheating

Hi all

My '93 2.2 vtec is suddenly overheating when run hard ie into vtec country....I've had the head gasket changed and thermostat too...but she's still getting hot under the collar.....any thoughts?

Are you running 100% water? 100% coolant? 50/50 or what...

check to see if your fan turns on as well

most likely your waterpump, or check to see if your radiator is in good conidition and full. But if your water pump is bad untill you replace it you can turn the heat on and it will pull the heat off your motor...its a temp. solution to the problem.
