I just got off the phone. First Test Pass Matt scranton flips his celica at Extreme Rush. All I know is it is very windy, it was in 3rd gear and the car flipped.

He is ok which is the good news.

thats crazy, they were just down at the shop last week and made some test passes at the local track the following night on much worse track conditions. good to hear he's ok

That has got to be the fastest NHRA has EVER posted anything to do with Sport Compacts. Can they keep it up?

What do those cars weigh? is it anything like a NHRA Pro Stock car weight?

The reason that I ask is because last year I forget what track it was there was a little dip in the track about halfway down and it was causing all kinds of problems for the Pro Stock car class. Jason Line Greg Anderson's teamate flipped his car on that day also I remember Jeg Coughlin getting a little squirly as with several others. They almost called the Pro Stock class off that day because so many were having problems and complaining about that track.

 

the weight limit is 2350

the track jason and others had problems was another track that comes later in the season i forgot which one it is

Jason Line's debut/crash was at Columbus, OH last year. The event this year is in two weeks (June 10-13).

I beleive they tore it up right after last year and completely re-paved it... i remember them talking about it during the coverage...

 

Yeah they were having all kinds of problems with that dip in the track. Good thing they took care of that not that my car would have any problems with it if I were to race there haha.
