Default Type R buildup from Scratch... phase 6.. comming to life *NO 56K*

Well got her back from paint last week... took 5 dammm weeks but I guess its worth it since the paint came out AMAZING.. Just so frustrating looking outside at the nice weather and my summer toy still is not ready...
I plan on dropping in the motor mid-end of next week... I need to finish it by june 26th for a show!!!

When I got her: 3 MONTHS AGO

After about 50 hours: LOTS OF SANDING

Add another 12 hours: ZINC PRIMMED RAD SUPPORT WELDED

Umm 15 hours later: PRIMMED AND PREPPED ENGINE BAY AND INTERIOR

5 hours later: NICE BASE COAT/CLEAR COAT,, look at that shine!

only 5-6 hours in and its started to look like a car again!.... Gas tank, break lines, wire harness, master break, clutch, pedals, subframe, suspension........ time to go home!

another 8 hours... I HATE BREAK LINES

And shes off for paint.. Ill miss the multicoloured look! NOT

5 damm weeks later... ahhhhhh oh well its life!
clean and silky (still not buffed)

still lots of work ahead of me

Umm windows are in....All bran new! so much $$$

Wohoo its comming together, interior is almost done!

Locks next, then handbreakline so I can finish off the interior... then motor

WISH ME LUCK
Tyler

Wow, I've built a few stripped tegs before, but never as thorough as that. Excellent job, I would have written that car off as dead.

Looks awesome!

You must spend a lot of time working on your car!

Not many people can say they built their R from the ground up.

looks like it was originally yellow. Why did the car have black paint or something all over the car? was it burnt? Anyways, looks like a lot of work...must've been a major pain to do all that. Nice progress tho
