Zex in a 98 lude ... ruined my idle....
I put a ZEX dry kit on my Prelude tonight. I got it all hooked up right and fired her up to go for that first spin and the thing didn't idle for crap. If I give it a little bit of gas I can keep it going all right but if I don't it wants to drop to like 200rpm and die. Anything above 1000rpm is fine and purrs like a kitten. Do I need to advance my idle a bit? The only thing I can think of is that I put an extra 2 feet of vacuum hose on the fuel control there between the "T" and the zex box. Maybe there isn't enough suction to pressurize the whole thing? I don't know. Any ideas will help.
