of using breathers instead of the hose that goes from your valve cover to the intake?

thanks...

For a daily driver, none that I can think of.

what's the advantage if it's NOT a daily driver?

I see no dvantage at all. I tried running them for a while, but went back to stock b/c I saw no difference & I figure in this case, the breather hose is there for a reason.

The breather is just to provide a vent so pressure doesnt build in the upper manifold area/valve cover. You will see no performance increases either way. Easier to just leave it like its intended so you dont get oil puddles on your valve cover

so it's better for that oil to go into your intake?

Oil will not go into your intake, trust me. Honda would not design a car to do that.

Yes, its designed with the little bypass pipe to float the extra (if any) oil back to the intake. You gonna sit and tell me that Honda designed ALL their engines incorrectly? Naw, I dont think so.

Im saying it doesnt offer perfomance increases, so it makes no sense. The amount of oil is negligible that actually makes it back to the intake, unless of course you have bad valve seals or seats...then you will have a lot more blow by.

Its emissions. oil vapors build up in the valve cover, so instead of venting them into the atmosphere they routed it back through the intake tube to be burnt up. Putting the filter on will simply keep your intake mani a little cleaner.

none of this is correct at all. it's all part of the crankcase ventalation system.

The PVC is what puts the vapor back into the intake manifold. That tube that is on the valve cover going to the intake tube is an air inlet, what you remove you have to replace.

Partly correct on the emissions, its to vent pressure also...

Please read before you discount what others write.

I already stated it was part of a vent system for pressurization.
