Default New Syncro's?

Im running the y1 LSD cable transmission on my car. Ive tried the GM synthetic stuff and I guess it didnt work for me. Anyone know how much new syncros go for and where I could buy them. Its either that or get a LS tranny to replace it.

How long ago did you put it in? I had the same exact tranny on my ride, sold it to my friend and he added the GM syncromesh and the grinds are gone!

did you purchase the standard gm fluid, or the friction modefied? In my experience the FM stuff works wonders. If you do decide to try another route, synchro replacement is expensive unless you can DIY, if not, then I'd just buy a used tranny.

The one I used wasnt FRICTION MODIFIED.. Which was part #12345349.. But it was the GM Synthetic.. Should I give this stuff another try with the friction modified stuff?

Does Penzoil Have the friction modified stuff?

synchros aren't that much... I am guessing its 3rd gear your having problems with, its like $250 for the 3rd - 4th gear synchro. If you go to Honda or any shop to get it done they are going to charge you A LOT to take the transmission off.
