'98+ ABS system the same between base Integra and ITR?
I know in '98+, all the Integras (with ABS at least) have the 1" MC etc.
My question is this:
Is there a difference in the actual ABS sytem itself? Or is it the same between the base and the ITR?
Reason I ask is because I have the entire ABS system out of a '98 GSR along with the MC and BB, but I'm going with ITR brakes all around as opposed to the GSR brakes.
I just don't want to run into any problems.
Any clarity on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Maybe I'm overanalyzing the situation.

The ABS for the ITR was supposed to be an "advanced" version above and beyond the system in the GSR ar the time.
That being said, and given the facts of your post above, there should not be any practical problem in using the larger ITR brakes with the GSR's ABS.

Thanks for the reply.
It is my understanding that the 'advanced' (not quoting you directly, as I've seen this word used many times in regards to the ITR) ABS system came out for the ITR in '96 (or whenever I the ITR came out...I think it was '96) while the USDM GSR still had the heavier, bulkier, less reliable older system.
Then this 'new' system was also implemented into the GSR when the ITR came stateside or shortly thereafter; maybe to keep things a little more simple.
I've yet to confirm or disprove any of this, but I'm glad to read your thoughts on the subject as rather reassuring.

I'd suspect this could be cleared up with some pics.
I can take some of a 97 ITR's ABS tomorrow.
Also, there were some graphs of the newer ABS implementation in the 97 Helms supplement.

Good thinking.
All of the following are '98 GSR.
You may not be able to get a picture of your lines along the firewall, but it may be a decent enough reference to check against yours.

Thank you very much for the help!
Since the MC/BB are the same (1") and judging by your pictures, I reckon it's fairly safe to assume the 98+ systems are the same across the board, while the pre '98 non ITR's have the less desirable system.
