Here's a pointer....

Don't do it. Go ride a dirt bike to do wheelies and such. Learn from those who have done it and regretted it.

Ouch - It's gonna hurt.

wow the anti-stunt video. lol. I really just want to film it more than anything. soo if you know anyone around here....that would be much more helpful to me, than your concerns for my saftey. Riding a motorcycle is a risk. I ride smart, and I wear gear. I'm not a squid. I don't see anything wrong with a stoppie or wheelie here or there in a controlled environment.

Damn... that vid makes me want to stunt!!!!

I'm kind of sick of people here bashing on "stunt" riding. Who gives a f**k what other people want to do with themselves and/or their bike! Yes, putting innocent people's lives in danger is NOT cool, but that's where the line is drawn between a "real" stunt rider and a squid. Before any stunt, I'm always looking at my surroundings, evaluating it, and deciding on safety for me and everyone around me. If I have even 0.01% of doubt, I just WON'T do it. There will always be another opportunity to wheelie or endo.

Wheelies, stoppies, and acrobatics have been around for decades, and just as two wheels and a handle bar are associated with motorcycles, so are these stunts. Stunts will always be around whether people like it or not.

wow, telling someone just to not do it on a motorcycle. Whats wrong with doing wheelies and such in a controlled environment, like at a stunt spot? Thats like telling someone not to drag knee at a track....yea ummm ok

I agree it is no one's place to tell someone else how to ride their bike . . . If he wants to stunt, he's allowed to . . . or if he wants to hit the track hard, he's more than welcome too . . . I don't believe he asked if he should stunt or not, just if there were riders in this area . . . If I were up there, I would be more than glad to give you some footage!!

Thats right, I judged you... you know why, I have been riding for over 25 years... I was doing three gear wheelies with bias ply tires on a 600lbs motorcycles years ago, maybe even before you were born. I have seen almost all the greats race in person, and I have even raced against some of them. What you guys are doing is not cool, it's not fast, it's not even talented. you want to see how good you are, get a trails bike and see where your talent stands. This is a dangerous trend, and it gets beginners with no experience all wound up in unsafe riding conditions without proper skills. Doing a stoppie will not save you in real world applications, riding a wheelie on the seat or tank is not helping you if you need to accelerate to get out of a dangerous situation on the road... I post some of your stunta folks stuff on serious scooter forums and the consensous is unanimous.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let me take back some of my serious nature in the above post, I agree that you should ride as you like as long as it is not on the open road and involving other innocent people, I will support you 100% if you take the proper saftey messures. but what I don't really like to see, and I am not alone on this, is the application of the "cool factor" to motorcycling, it is a serious endevor and should be treated with respect. Sure it should be fun, but if your in the canyons or doing stunts on the open raod....

Wow you talk a lot of **** for just another guy who knows how to post in a forum. If you were as good as you say you are, you would know that it does take talent to do what a lot of these stunt riders do. Yeah it's a different kind of talent, but it's talent none-the-less. I've seen plenty of guys who can lay down scorching times at any track, but couldn't do half the **** some of the stunters can do, and vice versa. You say being able to do stoppies or ride wheelies doesn't help you in real life situations? These maneuvers require extreme precision and control...two things i've found have never been bad to have when riding a motorcycle. I think that doing these stunts in the middle of traffic is rediculous, but if you have a nice stunting spot, or private property I don't see anything wrong with it. Oh yeah and you're videos were really cute to. You must be pretty arrogant. Just because I asked for a few pointers from a stunter doesn't mean I don't know how to ride. If you want to judge me that's fine, but it's awfully unitelligent of you to judge someone without knowing a damn thing about them. For all you know I could smoke your *** on a lesser bike at any track. I'm not saying I can, because (A) that would be silly seeing as how I have no idea how good you are (B) I'm not a dumbass and I don't make outlandish statements while not having any prior knowledge of the subject i'm discussing (C) I know my capabilities, and i'm mature enough about them that I don't have to toot my own horn on the internet.

Now maybe you should re-read my original post, the main reason I want to meet stunters in NH is TO FILM THEM. Because stunting is an exciting and growing sport, and people usually don't want to watch a video of guys playing it safe, or of people doing every day activities such as...riding a motorcycle in it's intended fashion. So with all that in mind, unless you have any information on people located in the New Hampshire area that participate in stunting activities, please do not post, in my thread. Thank you.

It's not a talent at all, it's a skill.

Skill in anything can be learned by anyone, which makes the whole thing that much more ridiculous. Look at me, I am skilled at something any jackass could do! I just like to demonstrate my insecurities and poor judgement by doing something that takes skill and is dangerous because that is so much cooler.

Yawn.

I have done wheelies & stoppies for ***** and giggles and I can also juggle. Guess which is harder to learn?

Of course, filming juggling isn't much fun though, I'll give you that and be sure to post your videos, there's nothing I like more than watching people get hurt doing stupid ****.

yeah guess what you've been riding longer than All the hayden brothers have been alive, Ben Spies, Jake Zemke, Valentino Rossi, and that's just a handful of guys, the list could go on, and they would all spank you. I'm not saying i'm as good as those guys, but i'm just saying you are a pretty immature guy for being so ignorant as to judge someone you have never seen ride. Just because I'm young doesn't mean I can't ride. Judging someone because they are young is no better than judging someone because the color of their skin. You are pretty pathetic man. Talking trash on an online forum is for kids I'm just looking to meet some new people, and have a good time. Get your act together.
