Clean 90 CRX HF just bought, check it out! 90 day project soon to happen!!!
I have been looking for another project crx and I found this red 90 crx hf at a used car lot here in WA out in the boonies. I was driving past it to go to a friends house and out of no where there was a small used car lot and sure and be hold there was a 90 crx hf. I looked at it and the exterior paint was immaculate still had the showroom shine to it. All origional! I looked inside and the interior looked brand new black/grey flawless as if it was brand new. Carpet looked brand new. It has 56K miles on it!. It is an under statement that it was very well taken cared of. It was almost too good to be true! I saved up some money and two weeks later I got her for a song and a dance! 5/28/04. The car will be in a 90 day project I will be doing very soon car will be turned into a very nice sleeeeper! from great gas mileage to shitty gas mileage! Untill then it will get me around from place to place! lol comments? advice?

Man thats nice, about how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking? And you should turbo it, rape that engine.
Deff do not touch that car... I'd take care of it, its in GREAT condition, GREAT milage, I know folks around here would pay $6k for that car, no joke...

6 grand maybe, for an Si, but it seems high for an HF, but I would definately pay $3K - $3.2K.
Don't touch it. Just flip it for a profit to someone who wants a low mile CRX.

I picked up the car for 2 bills, ya im pretty happy with it, it's pretty clean...ya it isn't an SI but I was never much of an SI fan, I am in WA so it rans alot and Si have sunroofs and didnt want to play much around with leaking sunroofs or sunroof motor problems, always been into performance so Si didnt mean much to me since crx's ive owned always got an engine swap, rather save wieght. The engine I plan on puttin in is an FB LS vtec turbo engine, already have it the bottom end and tranny done just need to build the b16 head. First I will see if I can do 13's NA 9-1 comp. see if its possible and then put a turbo kit on it and see if I will get into the 12's maybe 11's. Hope to get the 90 day project going soon! check in! Thanks for the props
2 bills = $200.00?
You paid $200.00?
If you mod that car, it will make me sick.
My sunroof has never leaked and or jammed.
Si's have 4 wheel disc, anti-sway bars, gas shocks, 14 in wheels, stiffer springs.
How is that not "performance" ?

90-91 crx si only had the disc brakes, rather save wieght, I plan on swaping suspension and brakes out of my 89 hf which has new never used, KYB GR-2 shocks, dropzone coilovers, integra brakes all around, brembo cross drilled and slotted zinc plated rotors all around, integra booster, perpotioning valve and mastercylinder, 2 bills as in 2x $1000.00

Total props man!
Gotta wonder why someone would only put that many miles on it and then get rid of it....that's insane given what people...especially in the north will pay for a non-rust bucket. Good job!!!!

I can't understand how you could ask that question. Why? Why? HATERS? yeah, right!!
Because, I'll tell you why.
Answer me this.
How many pristine CRX's do you SEE everyday? Hell, ANY DAY?
NONE, to be exact!
I've been looking EVERYDAY, for 3 YEARS for any CRX in 1/2 way decent shape with LESS than 150K. I found ONE, with 67K, and the guy wanted $3200.00, it wasn't even an Si. When I went back, he'd sold it.
I have not found ANY CRX's that clean, or with as low mileage as that in 3 YEARS of looking.
Yet I've looked at 3 or 4 dozen, that are projects waiting for a home.
There are hundreds of potential project CRX's out there, yet very few clean ones with 56K on the odometer.
Sometimes people just don't know what they got.
You have a potential money-making asset, that you will destroy, cause "I wanna make a race car, MAN"
Fine you wanna build a race car. Sell the HF for $3-4K, take the 2 grand profit, buy a shell or one of the thousands of shitted up CRX's rusting out in the world, and build it. But don't destroy something that's only going to hold it's value OR appreciate, just becase you can.
Rant over

There are a lot of clean crx's out there stock and good condition. I have had 3 in the last year or so...I just sold a 91 white HF with 130k origional miles on it, for a lil over 2k in close condition compared to this 90 red hf. They are out there, it's just harder to find them. I know just about everything there is on the crx's and every bolt. I don't destroy my cars, I take great care of them. So rest asure this crx has a great home, no matter if a few mods are done to it. I had the chance to either get this 90 red hf crx or an 88 si red, didnt want the SI, I liked the 90-91 style better and dont need a sunroof in WA. The 88 SI is still for sale I think in OR for $1800 pretty decent condition stock with gsr rims lowered exhaust intake 144k miles. The crx is about performance and if you dont give it's potential just looks a lil off. my .02
HFer 4 life!!! lol

in a few years, an all original '90 CRX in that condition, with only 56K on the clock, will go for more than $50,000 at the Barrett-Jackson Auction.
