Primary O2 sensor question.......

Default Primary O2 sensor question.......

or so the ecu says.....either way, im going to replace it for the hell of it...

How do i know this, on my way to work this morning, the started to bogg down when i would give it gas(almost like it wasnt getting gas) when i would let off, it ideled/ran fine...after about 30 secs, the check engine light came on(pissed me off) i started to move over into the right hand lane on the freeway and noticed that the bogging had stopped(WTF?) so i continued to work and then ran the code... light flashed a short single flash meaning 1....so i unhooked the ecu and kenji harness...hooked the stock harness up only and have ran it around the block a few times and seems to be running fine(not sure if itll come back on when i leave for work since it first came on after about 10 mins of driving)

My question is, are the GSR, ITR and SI primary O2 sensors all the same? or will i need to get one specificly for an SI?

I was thinking since im running an ITR motor, i should get the sensor for that motor rather then get a stock one again.......


My setup just incase ya'll dont know

2001 B18c5 complete block and head
2000 Si trans with type r clutch/flywheel
2000 Si ECU (ITR has an immoblizer in it and the car wont start with that) could the ecu be the problem?? and would a GSR ecu benifit me at all? i have to smog my car be4 June 18th so i dont wanna run an OBD2-OBD1 yet
AEM V2 intake/DC 4-2-1 Header/AEM catback
VAFC/Kenji harness but only thing adjusted for now is the VTEC engagement point which is now 5800(already disconected it and reset the ecu)

any help is greatly appreciated
i do plan on picking up an O2 sensor just incase

**** man... you have an ITR motor and your using an SIR ecu!!!

The fuel curves are very different for these motors.... Try to get that ecu chipped with the ITR program....

Do that first!

I'd also like to add, I changed my primary O2 and I still get the single blink when I check my ECU for codes... and my car runs fine...
