si head vs. gsr
ive heard but always wondered if its true that the 00' factory si head flows better than the gsr head. is there any proof of this if it is true? cuz machine works expensive.

From the factory, there aren't any significant flow differences, in fact there are a few flow charts in the all motor forum which prove this. The only notable performance difference is the combustion chamber design which on the GSR is a bit more of a "pent-roof" design as compared to the Si's more "hemispherical" design, thus resulting in slightly different combustion characteristics, different quench, and slightly less combustion chamber volume in the GSR head thus raising compression.
the b16 has very good air flow for stock but the cams and valves are what limit it compaired to the gs-r head.i've always heard that if u port and polish the IM on a b16 and some mild P&P on the b16 it's just as good as a itr head.but thats what i hear, the gs-r is always better out of the box though
