hey. my friend has a 93 dx hatch and there's somehting in the dash that clicks like crazy, like the turn signal click but it's something else and it goes nuts and it clicks all of the time when the car is on. It's prolly some relay but could someone help us find out where it exactly is and how to fix it? thanks

 

yeah i have the same problem but mine only does it when the car is idle

 

where does it sound like it's coming from?? as i've known before, it's just the glove department that's not making all the noise. im just wonderin also if the motor is properly mounted, because if it's not, the motor is making the rattling noise. let me know.

 

it's definitely coming from the interior/**** pit area. It "sounds" like it's coming from behind the gauge cluster/petals/steering wheel area but the clicks are hard sounds to pinpoint.

 

mine does that but it was a loose bolt vibrating

 

you may want to check your back motor mount then. the bolt could be loose and you will have to tighten it. if i was home i would be able to give you more information on this. i will go back to fresno this weekend and check on it. just go under the car and check that area first. if not, check inside the car where your pedals are at, something may either be loose there or broken also. if you do fix it, great, if not, i think i could figure something out by the end of this week.

 

my noise is coming from the passanger side dash and i already checked and it is not the glove department. so what else could it be. it only does it when you are at a light waiting?
