Default Lowering springs longer then stock springs?????

Have any of you ever heard of a lowering spring being longer then a stock spring? A buddy of mine got dropzone springs and the rear springs are 2" longer then the stock springs. It just seems really odd to me that they would be longer unless they are really soft springs that will bounce like crazy. I'm guessing he recieved the wrong springs. I warned him about dropzone.

I'm not sure about the length, but the bolds are major problems. Tell your friend (or is it really you ) he's a jackass and he better listen to you next time.

They're longer? My Sprint springs were TONS shorter than my stock springs. In fact, the stock springs wouldn't even fit inside the Sprint box because they were so much taller than the lowering springs. Something definitely doesn't seem right.

Yah it’s about 2" longer then stock. I've never heard of a lowering spring being longer then a stock spring, if it is the right spring (which I highly doubt it is) I cant even imagine how bad it will ride.

it doesn't sound right. I just don't get why people cheap out on springs. Lowering springs are already pretty cheap for good ones, so why cheap out?

No idea. Your right, it's only about 50$ more for better quality springs. It's totally worth it to me.
