I'm thinking of getting my hatch painted a dark gree like the Azure blue green on the newer preludes. But in general I am sort of interested in a dark green sort of color.

so does anybody have any pictures of civics painted that color?

 

sort of like this but I could of sworn that there was more a metallic gunmetal tinge to it...these are eucalyptis green and fiscus I believe.

is there a stock green ef/ed color? i could of sworn I saw a couple JDM EF9's sporting a dark green and it looked sort of stock. not too flashy or anything.

Dark green? None that I can think of, more like a teal green.

yea the JDM SiR Civics came in a dark green

 

any idea of that paint code..or a color close to it??

That is the dark Green off of the 98 Prelude.

 

This is the original EE9/EF9 color by Honda named Barcelona Green Pearl (code G-66P)

can anyone tell if those mouldings are painted or are the stock black???

The car El Vap133 posted has painted moldings.

I'm pretty sure the car posted by Toyz has stock black moldings with the red pin stripe. Which looks awesome IMO.

 

yeah it looks so close on that hatch i can't really tell..i might have to bring it to photoshop and lighten it up see what's revealed.

 

i'm either doin green or blue, can't decide quite yet....gold and green, mr. pimp.

 

The moldings on my car are completly stock, which means black with a red sticker stripe.

 

I decided my color but now my dilemna is...

to paint or not to paint the mouldings..hmmm

with that dark green you can't even really tell. I think you have to keep it black if you are running the red stripe but I don't know if I'll keep that either...

 

This is what I think:

If it's 88/89 don't paint the moldings. Instead do the red stripe, it looks pimp.

If it's 90/91 with the smooth moldings, paint them.
