Does anyone know how to take off the air scoop on a 1996 CBR 600 F3?

 

Drop a PM to MarmaladeBoy, I think he's got an F3 . . . don't know if thats how you spell his user name though lol

 

Prolly in the same way as an F4i... you gotta pull the tank, take off the cover to the airbox, take out the reeds, then get the whole airbox out... from there you'll see carbs and can find the plugs.

 

In my manual is says to take off all the fairings, unbolt the radiator and move it aside without disconnecting hoses and you should be able to get at them.

That's how I always did it on my F2. Wasn't exactly the easiest thing I have ever done but it wasn't that bad.

I thought reeds were only on 2-strokes? Unless you re talking about something else?
