NOx--1006--197 PASS
HC--132--408 FAIL
CO%--.73--9.17 FAIL

Did some to0ning on a dyno, and made me a new chip and this is what i got 2nd time around at EMISSIONs

NOx--1006--1044 FAIL
HC--132--282 FAIL
CO%--0.73--3.81 FAIL

My NOx went up 847pt's WTF ... Help, if anyone can help me to0n the p28 alil better so that i can atleast pass emission please letme know.. i have both .bins that i used.. any and all advise or suggestings would be much apprecaited!!

Damn, that sux. I passed with my 170K mile H23 with Carsound high flow cat and Thermal exhaust. Not that this is supposed to make you feel any better.

lol I passed my emmisions without a CAT... lol Anyways your prolly not passing because your engine not running clean enough... Try to make sure everything is in tip top shape before you go back

w3rd!!1! that's the point of this post went on a dyno and put down some good numbers and i had a pretty stable a/f reading.. but still not good enough for emissions

it's a CARSOUND CAT and it's 2months old at most

guess ill have to put some 87octane in it for emission, and retard my timing like a mother ******!!1!

I don't know if it will help, but the shop I use told me to put in about 8% methanol. I passed the last two years by only 1 ppm on the low speed Hydrocarbon emissions. The methanol supposedly helps on emissions. You should be able to get it from any speed shop for around $8.00 a gallon. By the way, my cat is really old and probably shot.

not sure if it will help with emissions but if you want the car to be a little cleaner maybe try some seafoam. hell it cant hurt.

Okay so i went back again.. as of right now i have about 15% of fuel taken out and im still not passing.. "NOx" is the hardest the emission guy said is to PASS i passed that, but how bout the "HC and CO%" what can be done to fix these!? take out more fuel!? i have already taken out 15% and im sure the car is running lean on the emission's dyno ( i have 2 chips, i dont drive w/ the emissions chip btw ).. Would retarding timing help at all here, to lower HC and CO% !?

here are my results, check out my "QUOTED" for the 1st and 2nd results

3rd timeStandard -- Reading --- RESULT
NOx 1006 -- 563 -- PASS
HC 132 -- 218 -- FAIL
CO% .73 -- 2.29 --- FAIL
