havin some fun with photoshop..
well ever since i started taking this graphics design/perception class ive fell in love with photoshop.. though i definitely dont know how to use all the tools, and i've only been using the program for about 2-3 months now (never in my life have i used photoshop stuff, so bear with me..) and ive just fallen in love with messing around with things... decided to show off some of the stuff i've done over the past few months. if anyone needs ANYTHING photoshopped and wants me to get creative, i would love to do anything to improve my skills and learn more, so pm me with requests
enjoy
original..

my chop..

and here's the photoshop contest... (even though i didn't win, i was very proud to make it to the poll!)

my chop:

here's something i did for a class.. this is the original pic, found on HT..

and here's my interesting chop for a project we had to do, creating an image entirely out of text related to the image.. note: this is the VERY FIRST WEEK that i ever used photoshop....

and here's something i was kinda proud of, thought it was pretty clean, did it a few weeks ago.. just shaved the wing

im sure ive got some more stuff floating around, like stuff for my graphics design class, so i'll post them up later if i come across them

enjoy

really all you gotta start with is tutorials. just learn how to select parts of an image using the lasso tool (lasso, polygonal lasso, and magnetic lasso, or the magic wand) then, learn how to use different layers. the whole point of photoshop is learning how to use layers to create an image. it seems soooo overwhelming when you first open up the program, like u just dont know what to do.. but try going into those sites, check out what the tools do, mess around with lasso, select an area, press "copy" then "paste", and it'll create a new layer.. there's your whole beginning
good luck

Good luck, I know people who have used photoshop for years and said they still haven't figured out how to do half of what's possible hehe
