raise compression d16
i have a 93 crx si head 1.6 port and polished and i have a 95 1.6 civic block the motor is in the car now running legit but i wana know if there is anyway i can raise compression with a thiner head gasket because i wana get a cam and if you know what kinda head gasket it is .....it would be great thanks alot for any info

why not?
to raise compression, use the y8 head gasket and for budget, you can mill the head a bit. I dont recommend that usually since it will leave you less room to play with on piston height if you ever decide to build up the bottom end.
you can get some good times on the sohc non-vtec. on our head packages with bolt ons, our customers average about 30-40hp gain to the wheels on just stock bottom end.
