Can I get synchros for this trans in the states? I heard these are very hard to get and on backorder or something. What parts can I get here and what do I need to go to Japan for?

what blew in the trans? I rebuild them at the shop all day long and have plenty of cable vtec trans. ----call -----------

yeah what he said. gear speed has the carbon coated Y1 small spline synchros in stock. they can rebuild your transmission (recomended) or you can just buy the synchros.

He is talking about GEAR SPEED in rancho - but indomotor can help you out

 

we stock gearspeed carbon syncros as well as final drive kits for most cable trans

 

Tranny stuff is very touchy - you should go direct to the company that makes the parts and even better have them install ( if you are willing to pay ) that way you know the parts a perfect and the fittment is great as well. Just a thought
