i installed my header recently, and the holes for the header hanger bracket didnt line up perfectly, so i unbolted it, installed the header, and then was only able to put one bolt back onto the car...

now its making a terrible metal on metal scraping sound at low throttle...and its been getting progressively worse...only if im barely touching the gas though...as soon as i step on it a bit it goes away...and when im cruising at like 30, and the throttle is barely down...it makes it too


could this be anything else besides a header hanger? i dont have jackstands anymore [my roomate from college has them, when i put the header on] so i cant just jack it up on my puny little jack and crawl under there and poke around...

if it is...can i get away without that bracket? or should i take the time to take it off, dremel it a bit, and bolt it back on?
