Default Carbon fiber hood

So I got in a little fender bender, long story short, my stock hood is dented.

I want to get a carbon fiber replacement.

I know there are a lot of companies out there that make carbon fiber hoods for Civics, I didn't want to make a poll out of it..

I'm trying to find out what do you rock as far as c/f hoods go, what company, hows the quality, fitment, and price.

PS. Car is a 2000 Civic.

Vis has good carbon fiber hoods. They fit great. If your interested call us (626) 573-8383 and ask for Sunny.

Id definetly go with a VIS.....Ive had mine for a while and they dont fade and the fitment is perfect. Inexpensive when looking at something like a spoon hood too...

I dunno. Mine I got lucky on. It is a second hand (dont know manufacturer.) there are some gaps but nothing I cant ignore. Plus my hood was only 50 bucks. Compared to a guy's VIS integ hood it seems a lot heavier than mine. Maybe integ hoods are heavier I dunno but it seemed almost 2x heavier.. Mine weighs about 8lbs.

JDMshit.com

Fitment is amazing. Looks stock and weights next to nothing. The stock hood latch even fits.

Well I know for sure JDM stuff is out of my financial reach but I'm gonna look into JDMshit, BKNW, and VIS for sure.

okay if you want looks from the c/f hood go with vis, you will save some weight and still have the look, no if you are a rcer or have a track car go with the fiber images, they are the lightest but are also pretty expensive, in short:

Looks=Vis or Jdmshit
Performance=Fiber Images

I've heard good things about VIS, but do they make hoods with the wiper nozzle holes?

If you have a B series swap becareful which hood you get if you go with VIS because there not friendly with B series. You could look for B18C5_EH2 ' s write up on a good *** VIS hood he got thats B series friendly.

Edit: My comment was for EH/EJ's with swaps. Im not sure about 96-00 swaps though.
