car WONT START!! help

Default car WONT START!! help

i have a 00 honda civic si wen i was driving it to pick up my lil bro the car just shut down in the middle of the street

the car crank but wont start i pull out the spark plug and crank it and no spark wat do you guy think the problem is ....

wat i did , 1. change the battery 2. change the distributor 3. spark plug 4. took off my home made kill switch from da fuel pump 5 change the starter

could it be the ecu ??

Maybe try resetting your ecu.. If not that then just check the starter. Im not sure why a newer car like that would do that on you..

pull the fuse from the fuse box under the hood. I thinks it's 7a(back-up radio) not positive.

nop not the fuse i pulled it out and it still didn't start
any other ideas
the car stereo was stolen could that have something to do with it

You said you have no spark. Check the coil. By a new one and try to see if that is what it is.

Take distributor cap off then rotor. Try not to drop the spring for the coil as well.

its your coil. you said you changed the distributor...but i think its the coil.

No spark tends to = bad ignitor/coil or both.

Very true, my bet is the igniter, sometimes the main relay is also bad, but your car is pretty new.

Might sound dumb. but i had a ground wiggle loose over time and i replaced everything come to find out it was the little ground on the thermostat housing.
