The sides are pretty easy.
The front is okay, I mounted it to the lower subframe in the front.
The rear is a witch. I've talked to a company that is going to custom mount it by bending my exhaust and making some custom brackets and gouging out my subframe. But does anyone have any easy ideas for the rear?
I've already dug a hole in the subframe for the sides to fit without being seen and the front is just giving me issues with being hidden.
I have to have all the tubes unobstructed and all tubes need to be hidden and there because check out the video (2.8 meg). Watch more than the first 60 seconds for the cool part.
The exterior neon I got on www.oznium.com while the interior neon was purchased from www.litewave.co.uk because believe it or not the 1ft and 2ft tubes and the spots and ZEN controller was cheaper from the UK even with shipping than it was from Oznium. But write them and tell them you need the NO VAT price (british tax not paid by out of country orders.
Exterior kit was $800, interior (4 1ft tubes, 2 2ft tubes, 4 spotlights, 2 gems, 1 ZEN interior controller) totaled up to about $1,200.
The website for the manufacturer is www.iceled.co.uk.
If I cover up even a few of the LED's it will create an off color, hence they need to be completely unobstructed.

give the guy a break. I mean has anybody gone to the beach lately? Girls actually like neons. Now cruising around "the strip" here in alabama and they would be pretty pointless, but in certain locations they're very pimp. Oh but wait...you're too hung up on what everybody says is "rice" to form your own opinion about things. As far as the mounting problems i dont know, seems like alot of extra space under the rear bumper to mount them, but I havent really looked under there lately so I cant help you out much.

When I used to have them, me and my dad put the back tube on the inside edge of the bumper. It was held down by twist ties. It worked really well, and it still glowed really well.
Sorry about that.
The colors work by mixing the three main colors (red, green and blue). So if I mount so the exhaust covers up some of the neon then it will look weird because of the scanning. If it covers up the blue and red, then it will look green. Don't want that...
Anyone else with how to mount the rear tube?

I have a red teg, with 98 OEM front end and rear end, with ITR fin and OEM body kit. Doesn't seem to terribly outragous to me..
Actually, I got tired of seeing other integra's the exact same as mine so I decided to do one thing outragous. Body kit's are ugly, lambo is unreliable, the neon can be switched off or on.
Hrm.. switched off or on. That mean's that when I want to be outragous I can be, but when I want to be just like every second integra on Honda-Tech, I can just press a button. I liked that.

Let's flash back 3 years... No one else has a JDM front end and you get the opportunity to get one for your car. You really like the front end and have NEVER seen one here in the states. But it costs $3,000. You have enough money.
What would you do? Be one of the first? Or continue to look just like everyone else?

No, I'm not saying that I'm the first. But I sure haven't seen morphing dancing neons on any other car in WA yet. Maybe you have a set. Then nice to know someone else has it. But I haven't seen it yet.
