Default what would be a better platform?

for lapping and autocross, wich would be the better platform between an integra DA or an EG civic hatchback.

Will put in roll cage cage, better brakes and suspension. for the engine eg = swap and da = ls/v-tec.

Thanx for your input.

Doesnt matter.

If you're serious about getting out on track, buy either one, dont do a swap, make sure the car is not busted, put tires and brake pads on it and go have fun

What he said. Track time is the best upgrade you can ever do. Besides that, starting out with a lightweight powerful car is not the best way to learn. I wish I could've started with an old, stock EF or something, seems like I would've learned some of the basics a bit better.
On a somewhat similar topic, RJ I know you had a DA for awhile, from the little bit of searching I've done, it seems like suspension options are limited compared to options for an EG or DC. Thoughts?

I was leaning on a DA cause the integra seems like a better platform. But i'm hesitant also with th eg v-tec (sohc) cause easy to swap 5 lug (better brakes) and other type-r components.

Wont matter.... leave it somewhat stock and have fun, alot cheaper.

you don't need massive brakes for a lightweight EG with the stock engine... just a good set of pads.
