cam gears allow you to change the degree of intake cam and the exhaust cam on your car, i think that if you only have upgraded camgears and stock cams then you wont make any power, you'll merely just shift the powercurve, to take full advantage of cam gears you will need some aftermarket camshafts along with it, correct me if im wrong
cam shafts are the things that makes your valves open and close, when an engine is in the intake stroke the valves open and lets air in, then closes so the engine can compress the air to ignite it, afterwards it opens again to let the spent exhaust out of the cylinder
Thats a sportshift u have in your prelude not a triptronic tiptronic or whatever u want to call it, porsches have that.

go with skunk2 cam gears. i wish i had, i went and bought AEM adjustable. but for the $$ my friend had skunk2 and they have 5 places to lock the bolt not 3 like aem.
Skunk 2 is bad *** for the money. I was gonna go Orthodox, but too pricey. AEM is only 3 sprocket holes, so i went with skunk 6 i believe. No problems yet..
